Why Start a One for the World Chapter?
College is where habits are formed – how you spend, how you think about money, how you show up for causes bigger than yourself. One for the World campus chapters are peer communities that normalize effective giving early, alongside the other habits formed during your college career.
Additionally, you’ll gain entrepreneurial, growth marketing, and community management experience – invaluable skills you can use well after graduation. By starting a One for the World chapter, you have the opportunity to build a legacy of impact that extends far beyond your time on campus.
What a Chapter Does
Recruit
Chapters bring together students who want to make giving part of their college experience.
Educate
Members learn about effective giving — the evidence and reasoning behind directing donations to the charities proven to do the most good per dollar.
Pledge
Chapters host events throughout the academic year, inviting fellow students to take the 1% Pledge and commit a percentage of their future income to high-impact causes.
